About Me | I am 17 years old, 18 in January, and just out of high school, trying to get into the photography industry and build up a portfolio and resume. Though young, I am very mature and responsible, a quick and eager learner, and possess strong work ethic. If friendly and outgoing is what you’re looking for, you will not find a better candidate. I also love children and get along with them very well. |
Education | 2005 - 2008 Conifer Sr. High Conifer, CO High School Diploma § Graduated with a 3.857 GPA. § Graduated a year early, due to summer and online courses. § Was yearbook staff photographer. § Took photography classes, one semester each year: a total of three semesters. § Took AP classes. |
Awards received | Published in bank calendar in 2001. Featured and received honorable mention for photography in Jefferson County Art Show in 2008. Published by Nikon in The Best of College Photography 2008, received honorable mention. |
Work experience | No professional photography experience. Good with computers and have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop as well as computer publishing software. |
Summary of qualifications | I have been pursuing photography as more than a hobby since I was in fifth grade. My high school had a phenomenal art program, offering extensive photography classes, which I did take advantage of. I have not yet assembled a portfolio, but can show published work, and yearbook work. Though I do not have work experience as a photographer, I have had adequate photography experience and I do own an entry level DSLR. |
